Adventure activities and weekend camping trips are the perfect cure for exhausting weeks and childhood shenanigans. Wilderness Adventure offers canoe and tube rentals, hiking, biking, and creek sitting experiences to fill your days and campsites or cabins to rest your soul. Located in the mountains of SW Virginia along the banks of Craig Creek, our 500 acre property offers endless opportunities for hiking, exploration, and fun!

ACTIVITIES

  • Weekend activities include: canoeing, tubing, zip-lining, hiking, fishing (2 ponds and creek), creek sitting, and general lawn games - plus you can plan incredible road and mountain rides that begin and end at our base camp.

  • No need for advance sign-up. Sign up and purchase upon arrival.

    • Tube Rentals: $20/tube with shuttle (1, 2, and 4 hour float options)

    • Canoe Rentals: $40/boat with shuttle, paddles, and life vests (2 & 3 hour float options)

    • Zip Line rides: $25/person (900’ zip line…60-250lb limit - Saturdays 2-4pm only or by appointment)


We’ll be serving delicious plated meals out of our commercial kitchen all weekend long. Meals can be purchased at the Outpost along with coffee, beer, and other non-alcoholic drinks.

  • KITCHEN HOURS: Friday 5pm-8pm, Saturday 8am-8pm, Sunday 8am - 10am

  • We will not be selling bottled water. Please bring your own bottle for filling at our outdoor water hydrants.

  • Feel free to cook your own meals in your campsites as well.

  • Onsite alcohol available for purchase. No outside alcohol allowed outside of our campground area.


PETS

  • Friendly non-barky dogs allowed. We have several “camp dogs” that serve as our welcome party; they will come greet you.

  • Please consider your pet when signing up for activities.

  • PICK UP YOUR POOP!!! Bring your own poop bags please.
