2 Week • Ages 14-17

Our area of Virginia is known for its mountain biking trails so you can’t go wrong in choosing this adventure! In addition to hitting the trails each day to hone your rock-hopping skills, you’ll also get instruction on basic bike maintenance and repair while also spending a day or two building trails or skills elements on the property. Sprinkled throughout the week will be plenty of opportunities to tube the creek, jump in a lake, take a go at our climbing wall or paddle a stream depending on your location. Of course you will also get to do the amazing 900' zip line and have the bonding experience with your group that only camping and campfires provide.

All gear needed for the trip is provided. We provide backpacks, sleeping bags, tents, cook gear, and more. We also provide bikes, helmets, gloves, and water bottles. If you have your own mountain bike you’ve been riding and it rolls well, we recommend you bring it!

  • The first day or two: start with our basic riding skill assessment and bike maintenance class plus get all the basic camping / backpacking skills you will need for the trip.

  • Leave base camp and head out to some of the best bike trails Virginia has to offer. Camp and ride some back country trails, single track and improve your technique on different skill courses.

  • Back at Base Camp, jump in on a little trail building and then join the other groups for the traditional Friday festivities: 900' foot zip line, WAlympics, fresh spaghetti (you'll need it after all the riding!) and share your stories at the Closing Campfire.
